After the body has cured in the mold at an ambient temperature, it is removed and inspected before being fitted to the chassis. All the body parts are prefitted and gapped before the panels are removed for the paint process. The individual panels are prepared before they are painted with a base coat clear coat finish. While the body panels are painted the chassis starts getting assembled. Before the chassis is fully assembled the body is refitted.
